A 2 element cubical Quad feed for my 8mtr dish
These are some pictures of my dish feed for 144 MHz.
Dimensions will be added later, could not find the book where I have all the numbers.
The Quad is made from 6 mm diameter copper tubing. Spacers are made from fibreglass rod.
There is a fibreglass spacer between the feedpoint and the stub, and the coax is taped to this.
There is no balun. Returnloss measured with an MFJ259B is better than 25db.
The feed is mounted on a small homemade windshield wiper motor rotator that turns 90 deg in about
3 seconds, giving H/V polarization.
